Girls Instructional Camps
at Calvin University
All Sessions: Please bring all softball equipment, cleats and tennis shoes (in case sessions move indoors due to weather), a water bottle and snack/lunch if attending all sessions. All campers registered before the deadline will receive a camp t-shirt. Shirt sizes will be given according to registration. Shirts are NOT guaranteed to those who register within 14 days of camp.
Session A: This session will focus on the basic skills of softball. Players will receive individual instruction on the fundamentals of the game. Defensive skill work (infield and outfield), throwing technique and base running will be included. Great for beginning players and those who want to advance their skill.
Session B: This session will incorporate the fundamentals of hitting with drills that focus on individualized hitting and bunting instruction. If camper owns a bat and helmet, please bring to the session.
Session C: This session will focus on individualized pitching and/or catching instruction at an introductory/basic level. Fundamentals of pitching and catching will be the focus. If camper owns catching equipment, please bring to the session.

NOTE: This is NOT on our main campus. The address for the softball field is 1661 East Paris Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, 49546, located between Lake Drive and Burton Street.
